At the end of the 2021 season, Cumberland United Women’s Football Club and Flinders Flames Women’s Football Club joined together to set up a new joint entity, known as Flinders United Women’s Football Club. The club aims to provide a safe and inclusive ‘lifetime pathway’ for female players, allowing them to pursue their love of soccer at whatever age, level or intensity that suits their particular requirements.

With teams from MiniRoos all the way up to Women’s Senior competitions, Flinders United’s philosophy is to develop and nurture soccer talent among women and girls of all ages in an environment that grows skills and capabilities in teamwork, respect, commitment, and leadership. The club prides itself on being able to provide every female who wishes to play soccer the opportunity to do so in a safe, supportive environment.
